Ars has reported sales figure of mature-rated games on Wii

Currently, tree titles of the famous Resident Evil are available on Wii. These are :-
1. Resident Evil 4- Similar to PS2/Gamecube
2. The Umbrella Chronicles
3. The Darkside Chronicles
Capcom revealed that they shipped 4 million units but the actual sales figures aren’t too good.
Though the sales figures of each title are not available but NPD has confirmed to Ars that the total sales of all the titles combined is 1.44 million that is around 480,000 units per game. These numbers are not too bad but considering the popularity of the game and the large number of Nintendo Wii installed all over the US, the sales figures look low. The PS2 has sold a total of 2 million units of RE4, which is higher than all the three games combined for Wii.
The other mature games to make their presence on Wii are Call of Duty: World at War and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Again, the sales figure of individual title is not known but NPD has told Ars that the total combined sales of both the games have been 1.65 million on the Wii i.e 825,000 units per game.
