Kotick of Activision Taps Video War Game Profits to Aid Veterans

Activision Blizzard one of the world’s leading independent publishers of interactive entertainment, fermented the first person and third-person shooter video game series “Call of Duty” into a $3 billion franchise in the past six years.
Call of Duty 4 had sold more than seven million copies worldwide with 1.3 million people playing the game daily. Robert A. Kotick the CEO, president, and board member for Activision Blizzard decided to put rough amount of the profit in assisting tangible war veterans find work.
Earlier, the Call of Duty Endowment started by Robert A. Kotick, is dedicated to ensuring that veterans are provided a clear path to new careers after their military service is complete. Kotick said, he intends to promote the nonprofit’s endowment to between $50 million and $100 million by the end of the decade from about $1 million today.
