It seems that the fifth chapter in one of the most famous series of wars in the world of video games sees the return of the classic settings of the Second World War. The development team Treyarch has decided to be a substantial step backward and return to basics on the fourth chapter that is set in a futuristic world.

Based on the engine of Call of Duty 4, Call of Duty: World at War immerses players into the raw and unforgiving chaos of World War II as never experienced before, pushing them to join together to survive the most harrowing and intense battles of the conflict which leads to the defeat of the Axis powers in both Europe and the Pacific.

The game redefines the genre of games inspired by the Second World War, delivering a raw and realistic way with unique enemies and combat variety, including Kamikaze, ambushes, Banzai charges and cunning tactics of camouflage, as well as explosive action through the all-new Cooperative game modes.
