An announcement from the United States branch of Activision: “Players of Call of Duty: World of War will get double experience this weekend.” Wow! Something really great for all gamers.

This is an attempt for those gamers who play the game over eight hours a day and don’t end up by dominating the game. With this offer from Activision, it is expected that the servers are going to be quite full with players.

According to the announcement, players can also opt from two new playlists. These two are available for the Xbox 360 from Microsoft as well as the PlayStation 3 from Sony.

The two playlists are Team Tactical and Mercenary TDM. Team Tactical is 4 vs 4 modes. It will pit the two teams against each other in a random creation. This will be for all the game types based on team mechanics.

Call of Duty: World at War has been developed by Treyarch. It has used the same engine that also powers Modern Warfare and it was published by Activision. The setting of World War II is a bit repetitive but well it matches the success of the previous release.
