Four Zombie maps in Call of Duty: Black Ops

We will see the popular Zombie mode from World at War returning in Call of Duty: Black Ops.
According to the information revealed from Best Buy, the Hardened Edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops will be featuring 4 Zombie maps pack that was seen in CoD:WaW.
Recently some details were also revealed from Activision related to the Collector’s Editions of Call of Duty: Black Ops – Prestige Edition and Hardened Edition. However, the company did not mention any of the information related to Zombies in its official listing.
Activision disclosed that the Prestige Edition will include a remote control car with in-built camera.
However, absolute confidence has been shown by Treyarch in Black Ops and it described recently the game as “classic CoD” and “true to the script Infinity Ward originally wrote back in 2003.”

Both, Treyarch and Activision is waiting for November 9th when their shooter game Call of Duty: Black Ops will be launched on PS3, Xbox 360, PC and also on Nintend DS.
According to Evan Wilson, an analyst, Call of Duty: Black Ops sales may reach 12 million units and this is quite a big increase from what it was earlier talked for 10 million units.
This decsion of his came recently after the retailers pointed out that the pre orders of CoD: Black Ops are more than what was expected.
Well, the analyst is not expecting that the sale may reach 16 million units, which was reached by Modern Warfare 2 last year. The basic reason for this is the tough competition in the FPS area. Also, the image of Infinity Ward has come down after the Activision public scandal and its fallout.
The other game which will give competition to Black Ops is Medal of Honor of Electronic Arts that will have the battlefield of Afghanistan.
Moreover, Electronic Arts has publicly made an announcement that they want back the crown back in first person shooter games.

Good news for all the Call of Duty fans and also for the Nindento DS owners. Getting released on November 9 this year, the Call of Duty: Black Ops will also a get a companion portable version. It will be brought to the DS also.
Activision recently announced the companion game of Black Ops for the handheld.
Call of Duty: Black Ops DS version is developed by n-Space, the same group which brought previous versions of the franchise to DS. They have also done some good job in bringing great stuff witht the previous CoD titles and made the shooter to work on a handheld.
The same expertise the n-Space is bringing on Black Ops.
In the game first the players will get to fly helicopters and jets in the DS handheld. Next, there will be six-player online multiplayer with a Perks System. More to this, there is a two-player co-op mode. There will also be Arcade and Challenge modes for singleplayer missions.
Call of Duty: Black Ops DS will also be released on November 9.
Nazi Zombies mode returning in Black Ops

The Call of Duty: World at War is considered as one of the greatest cooperative games in the gaming industry in recent years. The main reason for it being so popular is its famous Nazi Zombies mode.
Now, it is rumored that this Nazi Zombies mode will make its return in the upcoming game of Treyarch, the Call of Duty: Black Ops.
The latest bit of information collected makes this rumor little real.
There are news that Shaun Paul Piccinino is making a come back for Call of Duty: Black Ops as a voice actor. He was the leading voice actor in 2008 for the Zombies that was found within the exhilarating Nazi Zombies mode.
Call of Duty: Black Ops is announced to be released on November 9 this year.
Call of Duty: Black Ops pre-order beats that of Modern Warfare 2

In the Call of Duty series, Black Ops has been on the top in terms of pre-orders till date. Call of Duty: Black Ops has even crossed the record of Modern Warfare 2, which was released last year in the month of November. Black Ops is scheduled to be released this year on November 10th.
The earlier data reveales through various online retailers that 150 people pre-ordered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 every minute. So, it is clear that the rate of Black Ops pre-order is more than this.
Treyarch recently confirmed that the pre-orders of Call of Duty: Black Ops is beating the pre-orders of Modern Warfare 2.
Evan Wilson, analyst of Pacific Crest Securities said that it is better Black Ops does good in pre-orders as, he believes, this game won’t beat Modern Warfare 2 in terms of sales. He says that the main reasons behind his statement are “Competition, weaker marketing, and Infinity Ward situation.”
Well, let us wait and watch till November 9th.

Some new information related to Zombie Mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops has been developed and it is pretty exciting news. The news confirm that gamers will be getting the Zombie mode in the game.
Not to forget that the Zombie Mode was an absentee from this year’s E3 even in Los Angeles.
Even at the Microsoft’s keynote conference was also not confirmed about it.
There has been recent speculation that the developer may announce about the Zombie Mode at GamesCom.
Well, it is unlikely that the Zombies will not be included in the game. On the other hand Treyarch also knows that CoD fans want this and would also not mind paying a premium price for it.
Let us wait for the official announcement. Hopefully.
Next chapter of Call of Duty will be highly successful says Activision

After few weeks of negative news surrounding the publisher and franchise alike, Activision now speaks out that the next chapter of Call of Duty will be highly successful in the CoD series. After the Infinity Ward saga that saw the main heads Vince Zampella and Jason West leave and join Electronic Arts, Activision joined World at War developers Treyarch for the development helm of Black Ops.
Recently Treyarch stated that the Black Ops project of theirs will be the best CoD. Josh Olin, community manager of Treyarch, expressed that Black Ops will be one of the best games in the Call of Duty series. He said that separate teams are working on “the core pillars” of the game’s multiplayer, co-op and single-player. He said, ““It’s kind of like three games being developed at once.”
Olin also mentioned that although the IW situation with Activision is unfortunate but it is not letting to distract the 11-million-units seller CoD:WaW developers.

In a recent press conference of Microsoft, Treyarch disclosed a new level of the upcoming Call of Duty games, the Black Ops, set to be released this November.

The level of the game, which is set in Vietnam, shows one of the infamous tunnels of the region that were used by the VC forces at the time of the Vietnam war to move without getting noticed by the US forces.
The role of Mason is assumed by the players who leads a squad for searching the Russian forces. One may find that as the Mason moves through the tunnels with the squad, the point man of the squad is stabbed to death.
A wider cave area firefight level was also shown by Treyarch in the conference. Well, they immediately skipped ahead to Mason and co. who were moving towards a Russian refueling depot with operational Hind helicopter.
In the entire press conference there were two main news and that were the title World at War is back for Black Ops and the other one is the inclusion of helicopter sequences.
